Untitled #112

Untitled #112 by grizzlytales featuring a viscose shirt

So, even though I ordered the shirt that I posted about here to come in time for my presentation, it hasn't arrived yet, so I went out today with my mom and bought this shirt.
I dyed my hair recently, tried dying it green over the purple and it ended up going like, blue-ish? But still purple in places and green in others with patches of a grey-ish colour. It sounds mad but I really really like it. I'm going out tomorrow to buy new dye though. I know I'm going to end up stressing loads and loads and loads.
My friend's coming to the presentation with me and we plan on getting really really drunk after.
Yeah, hopefully it won't be awful and I won't look too shit.

You Me At Six - The Swarm
I'm kind of in love with this song atm, I haven't listened to You Me At Six in years and I've heard this song over and over on the thorpe park advert so I redownloaded their discography and aw I'm in love with them all over again.
I'm probably just going to be a 14 year old girl for the rest of my life.

Why are the UO shirts on the american site so much better than the ones on the english site? It's not fair :-(

catcher in the rye

I've wanted this top forever, I swear. It's out of stock though, and everyone similar to it is slightly different, like the print is smaller and obviously just an A4 iron on transfer. It makes me a little sad. This is very high up on my list of things I'll need to get as soon as I have money.

Friday, 16 March 2012

Found these on ebay, so far there are no bids and the starting price is 99p, with £4.85 postage and packaging.

They're not quite as awesome as the ones I posted yesterday or whenever, but they're pretty awesome. If my mom doesn't get them for me I'll cry.

Untitled #80 by grizzlytales featuring mid rise skinny jeans

I've wanted a top like this for so long and I've finally found one and it's £20 and there are 14 left in stock and I'd seriously do anything for it it's exactly what I've been looking for.

... moving randomly through space, like dust motes in a sunbeam, colliding, hooking together, forming complex structures, breaking apart again, in a ceaseless process of creation and destruction. There is no escape from this process. ... There is no master plan, no divine architect, no intelligent design.
All things, including the species to which you belong, have evolved over vast stretches of time. The evolution is random, though in the case of living organisms, it involves a principle of natural selection. That is, species that are suited to survive and to reproduce successfully, endure, at least for a time; those that are not so well suited, die off quickly. But nothing — from our own species, to the planet on which we live, to the sun that lights our day — lasts forever. Only the atoms are immortal ...

Lucretius wrote this more than 2,000 years ago, somehow his book managed to survive the fall of Rome, the burning, looting and desecration of the great libraries, a thousand years of cold storage in medieval monasteries where bookworms, censorship and erasures were common, so that at one point, maybe three — that's all, three — copies were in existence — and yet, says Stephen, On the Nature of Things emerged to become one of the most radical and talked about essays of the post-Renaissance, a favorite of Machiavelli, Montaigne, Sir Thomas More and Thomas Jefferson.

Someone buy me these please please please.

Absolutely in love with this song.
I really really really really want this top.

I seriously can't wait to get a job and just buy anything I want as soon as I want it.
I've basically just accepted the fact that everything I want now will probably be gone by the time I actually get money.
I know money shouldn't upset you, especially when it's just something stupid like not being able to buy clothes, but still, it does sometimes, because seriously, how beautiful is this vest?

The shoes and dress arrived today.
The shoes are too big, obviously, but they're wearable, and they make my bum look nice, so.
The dress is awful. I'm not tall enough to pull it off, my boobs are too small and my tummy is too big and it just doesn't look nice at all, which is almost upsetting but I expected it, so it's not really upsetting at all really.

I've definitely put on weight over the last year. I was a small size 8 last year and now I'm a small 10. I still fit in most of my old clothes so it's not much of a problem, but the clothes that were cute and figure fitting last year are the most unflattering things now.
It's just frustrating because it means I have to get a new dress before the end of the month and I can't imagine finding one that I'll feel pretty in tbh.

BACKPACKS by folknastassiya featuring leather bags

I saw the top right backpack whilst I was shopping a week or so ago and I swear I fell in love with it. I need a bag small enough for when I'm just carrying my keys/oyster card/money/makeup/phone/ipod etc but still wanna look cute. I can't stand little purses and I swear this is perfect, but I don't have £50 to pay for a bag.

A pair of these would be cool.
This post is more for me than anyone else, just need to put the links up so I remember them. IS POSSIBLY THE BEST SITE ON THE INTERNET OKAY IT'S SO GOOD
So I'm going to make a few of these, I might make a couple for some friends.
Seriously though, how cool is this?

My rabbit died in her sleep on wednesday night.

We’ve had her for 8 years, we got her for my brother’s 8th birthday. His birthday is the 7th march, which was wednesday, so we had her for exactly 8 years. I think there’s something really beautiful/depressing about that.

I cried a lot more than I thought I would when I found out. So did my brother, and he really doesn’t cry, the last time he cried was the day he found out we’d bought her for him, again, beautiful/depressing.

RIP Buttercup, the most beautiful bunny in the world.

I really want this wig

Tuesday, 6 March 2012

Got a presentation show sort of thing at the end of the month and we have to dress "fancy" and I don't really have anything at all and I'm dreading it.

Saturday, 3 March 2012

Decided to be proactive about the whole wanting a pair of £55 shoes, so I thought, "I know, I'll put some old games/cds into music magpie, see how much I could get for them".
34 discs later and I could only make about £32 cuz all my cds/dvds/games are shit. I have loads more but I cba scanning anymore in because there's dust in my eye and it's probably the most boring thing in the world.

Fuck you music magpie, fuck you.
For expo this year me and Jordan are going as Daphne and Velma from Scooby Doo. I'm going as Velma. I found a wig on ebay for £2, I'm going to get the brown one. I've already got a dark red skirt and I should have some knee socks lying about somewhere.
I need to go to Claires and buy a pair of glasses for like, £3/5, and then I'll go to Primark and get an orange sweater for however much that'll be, and then I'm done.
Shopping for my costume is making me excited for expo even though it's not until May.

Obligatory I-want-this-and-it's-really-cheap-but-I'm-too-poor post

It's only £7.25, plus £2.50 p&p.
How can I not even have £10 to buy a shirt? This really sucks.

I've wanted to buy some studs for ages so I can basically just stud everything I own. I used to do it loads using studs I tore out of cheap studded belts, but I used them all up and now I have no money to buy new ones.
I'll put some images below of the types of things I'm dying to do as soon as I have the money to buy some more.

These shoes are also very nice and I'd like these a lot, and unlike the others these are still available in my size.

All I need now is £55, p&p is free if you don't mind waiting a week for them, which I don't, because I'd be happy just to have them.
I should really stop blogging about shoes so much, but seriously, blue velvet docs, they're all I want. They're called "Dr. Martens Velvet 5 Eye Boot in Midnight Blue" and I can find loads of sites about them but no sites actually selling them. There's a listing on ebay but it's gone about £50 and there's still more than a day left so they're going to end up ridiculously expensive. Depressing.

(I love them but I'm willing to settle for the blue velvet chelsea boots in my last post)
