So, I would pretty much do anything for this top. I've had the tab favourited for ages and ages and ages. Even with the ridiculous $10 p+p, it's only about £21 when you convert it into english money, which is pretty cool, I'm gonna beg my mom and be really nice to her and hopefully she'll get it for me.

I want this even though I'm fairly sure it wouldn't suit me and I couldn't pull it off.

Looking like a homeless crackhead in my new passport photo.
I don't know why my hair looks so dark, but I kinda like it. Kinda want to dye my hair that colour.

I got about £40 when I sold my creepers, and I just spent it all in about 10 minutes.
The cheaper platform sneakers I found were out of stock, so I had to get the ones I was originally going to get, which only left me with about £10 after. I bought the tie dye laces, a 50 pack of silver studs that I'm going to put on a few different things, a hat, and directions hair dye because I'm all out.
After all that I've got about 90p, and I can't find anything I want for that little, so.

Sunday, 29 April 2012

So I found an awesome site where they have platform sneakers, they're basically exactly like the ones I was gonna buy originally, but they're only about £23 instead of £30 or whatever, and they've got white ones and blue ones instead of only having yellow in stock, which is great but now I have no idea what colour I want to get. I think I'll probably still get the yellow ones and then I'll get those tie dye laces like I was originally going to do, and yeah. Great.

Thursday, 19 April 2012

Ever since I dropped out of school over a year ago my mom’s been telling me I should look into the Folk High Schools in Norway, and recently she’s really been talking about it, so I’ve just been on the site for the first time and idk, I think I’ve always known I’d think it’d be a good idea but I’ve just never got around to looking into it..
“Folk high schools are one-year boarding schools offering a variety of exciting non-traditional and non-academic subjects, as well as academic subjects. The idea of folk high schools is learning for life, an opportunity to grow both individually, socially, and academically in small learning communities. All students live on campus in close contact with staff and their fellow students. One important part of the folk high school experience is to form a community, in and out of class. “

I think the idea of moving away to a foreign country where I don’t speak the language, by myself, is both the most terrifying and probably the most exciting thing I’d ever do.

And it’s kind of perfect timing. Most of the people I know are about my age and will be going off to uni after the summer, I’d be doing a similar thing, so I wouldn’t feel like a failure, but I’d be doing something much better for me and much better for my future.

My aunt went there when she was about my age, and my granddad taught at one for a while or something, and for anyone who doesn’t know, I’m half norwegian and my family have a house there, so it’s the type of thing that isn’t completely unrealistic. I could really apply, there are loads of schools so I’m bound to get into one, I don’t see why I wouldn’t.

The more I think about it the more I get really nervous, because what if I did get in? Could I really move to Norway by myself? Oh my god, it’s terrifying to even think about, but a kind of good terrifying.

I've only really talked to my best friend about it. I don't want to tell people until I'm sure what I'm doing.. but I'm fairly sure I'm going to apply, I keep thinking about it and it makes me really excited. I love the idea that I'd go there and nobody would know me and I could be anything I wanted.
My mom's already said that we could go on like, a "shopping spree" to get new clothes before I left, and I'd love that. I have no money ever, so I don't really have any of the clothes I want, like, I don't dress how I would if money wasn't a problem, if that makes sense. It sounds a bit selfish, but I will use it as an excuse to get the things I've had my eye on for a while. I'd want to go there feeling good about myself and how I look.

It's all so scary, it really is, but I just want it to all get sorted so I can apply.

Been browsing etsy for hours, these are all from the same seller and I think I'm in love. Gonna try and convince my mom to buy them all for me because she loves me (hopefully)

I don't think anyone could understand how much I want this top oh my god

My mom bought me this shirt!!!! It should arrive soon, which makes me really happy
Just ordered these two beautiful items from romwe, which was pretty cool because I had a voucher for $30.99, a voucher for $7, and a 20% off code, I'm not sure exactly how much that is in £ but they were both $40.99, so one ended up being $10 and the other about $20 something.
Can't wait for them to arrive.
I've already got an awesome outfit planned for when the skirt comes and when I've bought the shoes and the tie dye laces, I'll wear it with this tie dye vest top I'm making in a week or so and it'll look great.
After I've got the shoes I'll have just over £5 left and I'm gonna get a six pack of henna tubes and watch a bunch of tutorials so I can do perfect designs, I'm really looking forward to it all.
Having money is so nice. Kinda sucks that as soon as it comes through to my paypal account I already know what I'm gonna spend it on, so it'll basically be gone in about 5 minutes aha.

I made just over £40 by selling my white creepers, which has made me very happy.
Originally I was going to buy some flat black creepers, because I only thought I was gonna get about £25, but because I made enough I can buy the platform sneakers that I've wanted for ages and ages.
I'm also going to buy these tie dye laces to wear with them, because I think they're kinda perfect.
I'm just waiting for the payment to clear because I'm a first time selling so I don't get it straight away, which sucks, and then I'll buy these literally straight away and hopefully they won't take forever to arrive.

Sunday, 8 April 2012

According to someone on tumblr, The Devil's Hole is "a massive swamp full of shrooms and a massive statue of Satan.", so, naturally, I have to go there.

gonna miss my creepers, but the bids already at £28 which is fantastic

Friday, 6 April 2012

I'm selling these, because I want to buy a pair in black. I've got a pair of black creepers, but they're 3 inch platforms, so it's a bit annoying having to wear them whenever I wanna wear black ones. The more I look at this though the more upset I'm getting about selling them, they're beautiful.

Tuesday, 3 April 2012

I've wanted to dye my hair like, half something and half something else for so long. I did it when I was about 14 and had a long stupid emo fringe and it looked ridiculous, but I've always sort of wanted to do it again and my hair's kind of a perfect style for it now.
I don't want to do half black half blonde, because I don't want to bleach my hair or dye it black ever again really. I want to do colours that will just fade and I can do something else with it once I get bored without damaging my hair.
My hair's bluey-green right now, so realistically I could do this as soon as it fades, I just need to get the money.

~~updated tattoo post~~

Sunday, 1 April 2012

I've got the blue denim levi jacket that everyone else has, it was my uncles and so it's really old and all ripped up. I really really want a black denim jacket. This is exactly the same as the blue one I have but in black, which I think I want, but I also think I might look around for a black denim-look shirt that I can wear in summer without dying and sweating loads ahah.

Untitled #112

Untitled #112 by grizzlytales featuring a viscose shirt

So, even though I ordered the shirt that I posted about here to come in time for my presentation, it hasn't arrived yet, so I went out today with my mom and bought this shirt.
I dyed my hair recently, tried dying it green over the purple and it ended up going like, blue-ish? But still purple in places and green in others with patches of a grey-ish colour. It sounds mad but I really really like it. I'm going out tomorrow to buy new dye though. I know I'm going to end up stressing loads and loads and loads.
My friend's coming to the presentation with me and we plan on getting really really drunk after.
Yeah, hopefully it won't be awful and I won't look too shit.

You Me At Six - The Swarm
I'm kind of in love with this song atm, I haven't listened to You Me At Six in years and I've heard this song over and over on the thorpe park advert so I redownloaded their discography and aw I'm in love with them all over again.
I'm probably just going to be a 14 year old girl for the rest of my life.

Why are the UO shirts on the american site so much better than the ones on the english site? It's not fair :-(

catcher in the rye

I've wanted this top forever, I swear. It's out of stock though, and everyone similar to it is slightly different, like the print is smaller and obviously just an A4 iron on transfer. It makes me a little sad. This is very high up on my list of things I'll need to get as soon as I have money.

Friday, 16 March 2012

Found these on ebay, so far there are no bids and the starting price is 99p, with £4.85 postage and packaging.

They're not quite as awesome as the ones I posted yesterday or whenever, but they're pretty awesome. If my mom doesn't get them for me I'll cry.

Untitled #80

Untitled #80 by grizzlytales featuring mid rise skinny jeans

I've wanted a top like this for so long and I've finally found one and it's £20 and there are 14 left in stock and I'd seriously do anything for it it's exactly what I've been looking for.

... moving randomly through space, like dust motes in a sunbeam, colliding, hooking together, forming complex structures, breaking apart again, in a ceaseless process of creation and destruction. There is no escape from this process. ... There is no master plan, no divine architect, no intelligent design.
All things, including the species to which you belong, have evolved over vast stretches of time. The evolution is random, though in the case of living organisms, it involves a principle of natural selection. That is, species that are suited to survive and to reproduce successfully, endure, at least for a time; those that are not so well suited, die off quickly. But nothing — from our own species, to the planet on which we live, to the sun that lights our day — lasts forever. Only the atoms are immortal ...

Lucretius wrote this more than 2,000 years ago, somehow his book managed to survive the fall of Rome, the burning, looting and desecration of the great libraries, a thousand years of cold storage in medieval monasteries where bookworms, censorship and erasures were common, so that at one point, maybe three — that's all, three — copies were in existence — and yet, says Stephen, On the Nature of Things emerged to become one of the most radical and talked about essays of the post-Renaissance, a favorite of Machiavelli, Montaigne, Sir Thomas More and Thomas Jefferson.

Someone buy me these please please please.

Friday, 9 March 2012

Absolutely in love with this song.
I really really really really want this top.

I seriously can't wait to get a job and just buy anything I want as soon as I want it.
I've basically just accepted the fact that everything I want now will probably be gone by the time I actually get money.
I know money shouldn't upset you, especially when it's just something stupid like not being able to buy clothes, but still, it does sometimes, because seriously, how beautiful is this vest?

The shoes and dress arrived today.
The shoes are too big, obviously, but they're wearable, and they make my bum look nice, so.
The dress is awful. I'm not tall enough to pull it off, my boobs are too small and my tummy is too big and it just doesn't look nice at all, which is almost upsetting but I expected it, so it's not really upsetting at all really.

I've definitely put on weight over the last year. I was a small size 8 last year and now I'm a small 10. I still fit in most of my old clothes so it's not much of a problem, but the clothes that were cute and figure fitting last year are the most unflattering things now.
It's just frustrating because it means I have to get a new dress before the end of the month and I can't imagine finding one that I'll feel pretty in tbh.

BACKPACKS by folknastassiya featuring leather bags

I saw the top right backpack whilst I was shopping a week or so ago and I swear I fell in love with it. I need a bag small enough for when I'm just carrying my keys/oyster card/money/makeup/phone/ipod etc but still wanna look cute. I can't stand little purses and I swear this is perfect, but I don't have £50 to pay for a bag.
